We have an immediate need for a SQL DBA
Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database, implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance solutions; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issuse, replication and other distributed data issues.
• 40% Database Administration
• 30% Database Developent
• 20% Disaster Recovery/Support
• 10% Other Duties
Skills:
• 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred
• Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft SQL enterprise database environments
• Extensive experience designing, developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL 2000/SQL 2005 environments is required
• Experience in database modeling and analysis is required
• Experience with Microsoft OLAP and Microsoft Reporting Services and competent in Windows based computer applications (Microsoft Office), etc.
