SQL DEVELOPER recruitment
SQL Developer sought by leading hedge fund. My client is an industry leading quantitative hedge fund who are currently performing very strongly despite the wider economic climate. They are looking for SQL developers on a permanent basis.
The role involves adding and developing new feeds to SQL databases and large datasets as well as looking at data analysis. Further details can be discussed in confidence after application. The current team is at the cutting edge of trading strategy and pattern recognition. They have several clustered databases but are also using some new SQL technology to allow rapid access to terabites worth of data.

They require in experience in some or all of the following
-MS SQL server development experience (DBA experience is also desirable)
-Programming experience within C#
-Scripting experience (Ideally Python)
-HTML/XML/XSLT and ASP are nice to hae
-Experience of UI design is a big plus
-Strong education ideally around computer science, physics or mathematics
