A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production Support DBA for a top performing Investment Bank. This SQL Server DBA will be working within a team that support over 3000 SQL Servers and across the whole bank. They are responsible for the day to day running of the databases and investigating major issues and be responsible for critical fixes. This individual will be working on a huge landscape and will be taking a lead within the team for upgrading a number of databases from SQL Server 2008R2 to the latest version of SQL Server 2012 by the end of the year.
This SQL Server DBA will be responsible for supporting a number of databases across multiple asset classes and across multiple business areas, covering front, middle and back-office. They will be responsible for database replication, Mirroring and working in a highly clustered environment.
