A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SQL Server Data Warehouse Developer (SSIS, ETL) Developer to join a flourishing Investment bank. They would be moving into a global cross business Finance IT team.

This Finance IT team are responsible for overseeing a number of back-office systems, including the SQL Server data warehouse, Trade monitoring, Swift messaging, Accounts payable and Purchase Ledger as well as various reporting systems.

Currently the team are on-boarding a number of new financial products into the finance IT systems, therefore require this SQL Server Data warehouse developer (SSIS, ETL) to come on board to be responsible for the semi-green field development work to extend the current data warehouse(SQL Server) to incorporate these new products while maintaining and enhancing the current data warehouse.

From a technical perspective, this Developer would be responsible for speaking to the business analysts, understanding the requirements, and translating them into technical solutions, and then be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of the SQL Server Data warehouse. A side from this development work they will be responsible from time to time to get involved with elements of support and be the expected to champion the department in development forums across the bank, they will be working closely with vendors and writing training documentations for other developers.

To be considered for this role you must have the following skills:

*Data warehouse development (SQL Server, SQL Server 2008 or 2005, SSIS, ETL)

*Retail banking or Investment banking experience

*Experience speaking to business analysts.

Experience with any financial products, working within a back-office environment with any of the above applications would be ideal.
