SQL Server Database Administrator – Hedge Fund (London) recruitment
Skills Experience Sought:
- Educated to degree level in a numerate discipline from a top university.
- Experience as a Production DBA in a 24/7 or 24/5 environment.
- Knowledge of Transactional Replication, Database Mirroring, Backup Recovery.
- Scripting experience, preferably with Powershell, or previous commercial experience as a Developer.
- Commercial experience in, or at the very least a very strong interest in, systems automation.
- An open-minded and flexible attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to collaborate heavily with a large and extremely talented Development team as well as Infrastructure Leads.
Please note that previous experience in a Hedge Fund or Investment Bank is by no means essential, providing applicants have the requisite soft-skills and technical ability.
