SQL Server DBA - Cheltenham to 45k
Our market leading client are looking for a SQL Server DBA to join their busy team to manage and maintain the company databases.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Problem analysis and creating solutions for database issues
- Supporting business functions and end users
- Managing and maintaining database design
- Responsibility for database scalability and performance
- Designing, developing and implementing changes to the company systems such that the integrity of the database is maintained at all times
- Supporting the technical teams in database design and efficient SQL production
Skill set should include:
- Strong proven background in SQL Server database design and maintenance
- Expert in SQL and database query language techniques
- Good understanding of Reporting services and DTS / SSIS
- Excellent knowledge of database performance monitoring tools and techniques
- Working to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Web based applications and XML
