SQL Server DBA is sought by my Canary Wharf based Tier 1 Investment Banking client.
The successful candidate will have Investment Banking Experience.

Role Description:
The succesful candidate will participate in the development and implementation of complex SQL Server database systems, working closely with application teams to design, build, configure, tune and support all aspects of the SQL Server environment. They will be primarily responsible for a specific number of applications and will perform out-of-hours support on a rota basis for all applications supported by the EMEA SQL Server DBA team. They will work under minimal supervision, with general guidance from existing DBAs or managers. They will work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
Computer Science degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience
