SQL Server DBA/Developer, SSIS, T-SQL, SSRS, Datawarehousing, Insurance
SQL Server DBA/Developer is needed for one of the world's leading Insurance companies and member of the world's largest and most prestigious Insurance syndicate, Lloyds of London. You will take a senior role taking ownership of the companies Data Platform.
Having come from a SQL Server DBA background you will take ownership of this companies data platform, going into a greenfield environment you will play a key role in the migration onto SQL Server 2012 estate. You will be implementing new solutions in line with business requirements whilst brining new ideas and technologies into the team where appropriate. This role will be approximately 70% DBA work and the rest Development.
You will ideally have all of the bellow:
* SQL Server Database Design
* Strong T-SQL skills
* Knowledge of SSIS (ETL based processing)
* Knowledge of SSRS/SSAS
* Database analysis and tuning of tables and indexes
* Developing Data Warehousing/Marts
* Basic Hardware knowledge
This is an exciting opportunity for a SQL Server DBA/Developer to join a prestigious Lloyds of London Insurance company. You will be heavily involved in the migration onto SQL Server 2012 and other new and exciting projects. You will take ownership the companies data platform and shape the way the company uses data.
