SQL Server (SSRS) Reports Developer (vCloud Environment) Job in Colorado Springs, Colorado US
Under limited supervision, assists in the analysis, design, programming, and modifications for software products and/or customer applications. Writes code and completes programming, testing, and debugging of applications. Finalizes forms, procedures, and documentation needed for installation and maintenance of application programs. Interfaces with marketing and customers to add new or custom features to company products. May use a wide range of disciplines such as distributed networking and databases, communications, and multiprocessing applications. Requires firm background in software engineering including analysis, design, implementation and verification.
This engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of Microsoft SQL Server Reports. These reports will be integrated into our product.
Experience:
- 2+ years experience with designing and developing reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS 2005 or greater)
- Solid SQL (functions and views) Skills, preference with SQL Server 2008/t-sql
- Experience with tuning and optimizing queries.
- Experience with other products such as vSphere, vCenter, vCloud, and vShield is strongly desirable.
