Sr. Account Executive — IT Outsourcing/Cloud Solutions Job in Reston 20190, Virginia Us

Our client is an undisputed industry leading Fortune 500 IT services provider with an excellent reputation for delivering customized, innovative solutions to enterprise clients across the US. On their behalf we are searching for an experienced sales executive in the DC area with a strong background consulting with enterprise clients and selling integrated IT solutions.  With an existing account base spanning a wide range of companies across various industries, candidates must be accomplished solution sellers with executive-level credibility and a history of selling technology solutions to address complex business problems. 

The regional focus of this role will be the Mid-Atlantic, with the largest and best accounts and prospects clustered in the DC area.  Substantial insight into the overall technology and business strategies of enterprise accounts in this region will be an important factor for success.  Subject matter knowledge covering a range of IT outsourcing solutions will also be helpful; for example, candidates should be experienced in analyzing and articulating the value proposition of IT outsourcing, cloud solutions, managed hosting, managed security and network services, related consulting and professional services, etc. However, the ability to identify opportunities and develop trusted advisor relationships with C-level business executives will be the most important skills required. 

The compensation package for this role will include first year on-target earnings of $220-240K, including a negotiable base salary in the $120K range, plus uncapped commissions, and a bridge to guarantee commission payout in the initial months of employment.  Benefits are comprehensive.  These terms are negotiable and will be adjusted to suit the needs of a particular candidate.
