Looking for a Senior Accountant for Ft Myers. Must have BS in Accounting, be experienced and a self starter.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Journal Entries, balance shee reconciliations and review of monthly trial balances.
* Record subsidiary monthly financial transactions into the Corporate General Ledger.
* Supply information for tax and miscellaneous reports.
* Assist Controller with the monthly and year-end financial closing process
* Facilitate annual audit performed by external auditors.
* Review the Custodial Liability accounting and reconciliation process on a monthly basis.
* All other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years accounting or finance experience as Senior Staff Accountant.
* Must be able to ask questions and learn quickly and possess leadership skills.
* Ability to analyze analysis financial information and processes.
* Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize own workload.
* Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
* Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be able to establish and meet goals and deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Must be PC literate with proficient knowledge of MS Office Suites (Windows, Excel, and Word).
* In depth understanding and knowledge of systems and report writing.
* BS in Accounting required.
