COMPUTER-Sr. Analyst/ Developer at Goldman Sachs Co. in Salt Lake City, UT. Develop support Goldman Sachs Products, Pricing, Reference data systems w/in the Private Wealth Management division. Position reqs: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Info Systems. 3yrs of exp (for Master's degree candidates) or 5yrs of exp (for Bachelor's degree candidates) in Java/J2EE, Perl Sybase SQL Database developer role w/in the financial services industry. Must have 3yrs of: exp w/the following: J2EE development, panels framework to create GUI interfaces, automated testing using JUnit, development deployment of an n tier application on a globally distributed platform; utilizing knowledge of Wealth Management services financial products, incl Equities, Fixed Income, Hedge Funds Private Investments to relay information regarding financial products to tech non-tech personnel; exp w/financial trade processing through middle back office systems incl booking keeping, trade execution. Must have 2yrs of exp w/the development of Sybase stored procedures, working on large batches of data (i.e. in excess of 4 million rows), advanced performance tuning techniques, such as query plan statistical analysis. Must have 18 mos exp: in inter-system communication using EJB Web Services; exp w/database interaction using Object Relation Mapping (ORM), such as Hibernate Top Link.
