In this role you will be part of a team of experienced individuals developing leading edge satellite communications antennas. You will produce concepts and perform design, analysis, modeling, and testing of various types of antenna components and antenna systems, including phased arrays. You will take designs from the conceptual drawing board into the implementation of building and testing the finished product. If you have the flexibility to perform in a dynamic work environment, have a strong personal ownership of your work, and are willing to both lead and mentor, then you will do well in this role. Experience/Skills Required
Requirements:
• Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years antenna design experience
• Up to 25% travel
• US citizenship
Preferences:
• Experience designing S, C, X, Ku, and Ka-band optics, reflectors, phased arrays, and feeds
• Knowlege of analytical and programming tools such as CST, CHAMP, Fortran, HFSS, Mician, MathCad, Ticra
• Hands-on design experience through laboratory testing, system measurements, and troubleshooting skills
