Position Summary Position Summary As a Senior Architect, you?ll have the opportunity to design the next generation advanced platform for Walmart Global eCommerce. You will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale software applications as well as serve as the technical guide for the development teams. You will help the group to achieve the following objectives: 1. SAMPLE 1 Development and execution of a global strategy for e-Commerce. 2. SAMPLE 2 Establishing cross-functional and cross-border Walmart relationships designed to accelerate and broaden our growth in the global online channel. 3. SAMPLE 3 The creation of technology platforms and applications that can be used effectively in every Walmart market. Position Description Position Description ? Leads the creation and implementation of hardware or software technology solutions for the division ? Demonstrates and proves hardware or software technology concepts to other architects and management ? Improves the hardware or software technology environment ? Assists in the development of engineers and architects ? Oversees the development of conceptual, logical, or physical hardware or software designs ? Identifies and implements strategies for service enabled technologies (for example, service oriented architecture) ? Develops and implements product development strategies using Agile development processes ? Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates ? Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity ? Ensures business needs are being met ? Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for technical architecture of hardware or software systems
