RTSC is anticipating opportunities supporting the US Department of State (DoS) Office of Science and Technology (ST) in the installation and maintenance of security equipment at its facilities worldwide to protect its personnel and the USA's critical national security information. We are currently seeking candidates for that anticipated work to provide security system enhancements/upgrades for technical security capability of facilities overseas to reduce security vulnerabilities and ensure a safe working environment for all U.S. Government employees and visitors at diplomatic locations worldwide. All activities under this contract will be performed at U.S. Department of State facilities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and overseas U.S. Government Diplomatic Posts.

Job Description:  As the Sr. Architectural Drafter CADD II, you will direct and coordinate the activities of designers/drafters and other assigned staff. You will schedule work and review and check completed work assignments. You may work on more complex assignments and have working knowledge of applicable equipment including CAD/CAM. You will define and clarify work requirements with clients and other users. You will select, train, and evaluate work of assigned staff. You will develop estimates based on scope of effort and perform other related duties as assigned. You will supervises the work of lower level employees.

Basic Qualifications:  You must have at least four years of supervisory related experience in detail drafting, preferably in the high technology industry with emphasis on electro-mechanical drawing. You must know and have direct experience using CAD software packages

Education:   A Bachelors degree in an architectural drafting or engineering or similar field is preferred, OR an Associate Degree in a technical field and 8 years of relevant experience OR HS and 12 years experience.
