Job Description

Reporting to Head of Trust NEA, this incumbent is required to support Relationship Managers in acquiring new fiduciary and insurance businesses. This will include providing training and relevant sharing sessions with the Relationship Managers.

In addition, this incumbent is required to work closely with the trust companies to facilitate the Relationship Managers in the management of existing fiduciary structures.

Key Roles Responsibilities

- Business development and clients acquisitions:

- Generate potential leads from Private Bank

- generate potential new leads for other parts of bank eg Wholesale Banking, SME Banking

- convert leads into sales

- To achieve annual sales target set for fiduciary structures and jumbo life insurance

- Have discussions with high-net-worth clients on estate planning needs and the use of fiduciary structures and insurance tools

- Offering clients various alternative estate planning structures and working with Standard Chartered and external providers of such structures, as well as working with the attorneys and accountants of client

- Helping Relationship Managers to understand benefits of estate planning structures and aiding Relationship Managers in the administrative and technical aspects of these structures

- Travelling with Relationship Managers is expected to meet with prospects and to service existing clients

- To assist Relationship Managers in building strong relationships with their clients

- To work into building good relationship with intermediaries, eg accountants and lawyers

Qualifications Skills

With at least 5 years of experience working in Trust and Estate advisory for high-net-worth sector

Must have understandings of basic regulatory/tax regimes in Asia Pacific countries

Trust business development experience is a must

Good communication and interpersonal skill

Travel is required

Fluency in Mandarin preferred
