Key responsibilities include supporting the monthly close process, completing management/project reports, and presenting results and recommendations to senior management. This position also provides analysis and input to the forecasting and planning processes. In addition, the candidate will help ensure compliance to financial control systems (SoX) while assisting manufacturing management in understanding and improving shop floor management systems. These activities require the ability to gather and analyze data, understand and communicate cost variance drivers, organize and perform audits, and establish effective working relationships Basic Qualifications Master s degree OR Bachelor s degree and 2 years of experience directly related to the job OR Associate s degree and 6 years of experience directly related to the job OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience directly related to the job Preferred Qualifications The preferred candidate will have 3-5 years of financial accounting/analysis experience within a manufacturing environment. A working knowledge of cost accounting principles and production control systems is required. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and communication (written and oral) skills; have a proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related is preferred. Familiarity with SAP, Cognos, and database applications is a plus.
