The Sr.Brand Manager will be responsible for building our tire retailing business from the ground up. Develops and manages all aspects of the business, including marketing programs, consumer communication, assortment decisions, and working with tire vendors to drive profitable sales of tires through retail stores. Analyze results and recommend changes necessary based on new learning. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive execution through retail.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Work closely with VIOC Direct Marketing organization to effectively leverage direct mail, email, online, etc. to drive tire purchases.
- Identify key consumer messaging for tires and related services for use in advertising, in-store materials, and sales processes that drive sales growth.
- Enhance marketing program effectiveness by building relationships within the organization (i.e. field, operations, training, etc.) that improve execution. Work with Customer Experience, Training, Graphics, and other cross-functional groups to incorporate data-based insights into in store materials, sales scripts, etc.
- Develop recommendations to leverage vendor promotional dollars and programs to drive sales.
- Assess product assortment, sales, and market opportunities to better meet consumer needs and drive sales.
- Identify and assess opportunities for new services and product lines associated with tires that profitably build revenue.
- Manage consumer research to deliver actionable insights and business building ideas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related field required. MBA preferred
- 6+ years of business experience.
- Deep working knowledge of the tire retail business and the tire consumer required.
- Experience working for a tire retailer preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Understands all aspects of targeting and positioning in the development of effective consumer communication and marketing strategies. Able to develop promotion ideas that drive volume in a cost effective manner that is consistent with business strategies, and provide analysis that demonstrates impact of activity on the business.
- Agency Management - Can provide good leadership to agencies that enables them to deliver against goals, including setting clear objectives and deliverables, appropriately aggressive timelines, and managing budgets. Provides feedback to agency to improve performance without alienating that builds commitment.
