Capital One, a Fortune Magazine -100 Best Companies to Work For,- is seeking a Senior Brand Manager for Digital Acquisition Channels Strategy.

This high-profile marketing role will lead Brand strategy for digital channels acquisition supporting the US credit card acquisitions line of business, overseeing multiple consumer-facing marketing channels, including Display, SEM, and Affiliates marketing.

Responsibilities:

- Manage portfolio of digital channels marketing communications and correlating rollout performance

- Leverage competitive intelligence and marketplace trends to provide leadership on how Capital One should innovate and evolve digital acquisition channel strategy

- Develop and drive marketing communication strategy and marketing plans across card acquisition segments and digital marketing channels

- Lead learning agenda and portfolio creative testing investment strategy

- Work with a team of analysts to review site metrics / analysis and customer feedback to identify opportunities and recommend strategies to maximize online effectiveness and customer satisfaction

- Lead cross-functional teams including partners from: Marketing Analysis (PL owners), Brand Segment teams, Operations/Production, Legal etc.

- Develop and coach a team of Brand Strategists

- Manage a team of 6, potentially including contractors

- Lead agency relationships and other vendors, as required, including oversight of $1-2MM+ marketing communication sourcing budget

- Influence internal decision makers with formal recommendations and informal networking

- Partner with our internal market research department and agency planning teams to identify consumer and market insights to inform in-market strategies

- Partner with business analysts to develop channel goals and bring new strategies to market, including positioning, claims, experience, branding and marketing strategy

- Identify and implement digital trends and innovations, competitive news and industry best practices that improve channel results and Brand impact

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years experience in multi-channel marketing delivery and communications, including direct response marketing

- 5+ years experience in search engine marketing, display and affiliate marketing
- 5+ years experience in managing creative teams and agencies
- 5+ years experience in leading cross-functional teams
- 5+ years experience in managing advertising agency relationships
- 5+ years experience in planning, execution, and analysis of marketing programs

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or similar field

- Experience in the financial services area is preferred.

- Strong leadership skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, plus ability to clearly articulate and express ideas to a wide variety of people and groups at any level.

- Highly self-motivated, organized and professional, including the ability to work independently and partner effectively within and outside of the immediate team to achieve desired business results.
