Sr. Business Analyst

Position Description:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for creating, reviewing, modifying and recommending business requirements applied to enterprise clinical applications. This role works closely with the our subject matter experts within the various business segments and technical team to test the solution, record and track technical issues and implement any needed changes. To gather data on what business requirements should be included during the design stage, the business analyst must thoroughly understand our organizations' businesses, and the issues and challenges facing the industry and organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create, reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
- Project Execution: Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. Communicates and applies project standards. Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients. Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project.
- Client Management: Develops relationships with client personnel that foster client ties. Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- Communication: Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings. Delivers informative, well-organized presentations. Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Identifies critical issues and is able to analyze problems.
- Teamwork: Facilitates effective team interaction. Acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.
- Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed. Works with less structured, more complex issues.
- Serves as a resource to others.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of clients in a high stress environment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Clinical Fields, a related field OR high school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- 2+ years of experience with clinical applications and the software development lifecycle.
- 5+ years of experience with gathering requirements from multiple sources and working to solve for multiple needs.
- 2+ years of experience in working with large teams and large projects within the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Experience in presenting to all levels in an organization.
- Experience in working with large teams and large projects within the software development lifecycle.
- Proven skills in writing detailed business requirements within the clinical industry.
Assets:
- Basic PowerPoint skills preferred.
