JOB SUMMARY:
Research and assess competitive data and communicate current business climate and conditions and recommend actions to improve future business through written reports and in presentations to individuals and groups.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform financial analyses that will communicate clear understanding of business conditions and necessary actions needed from critical team members and senior leadership.
• Participate in the development of business cases, taking into account competitive market, operational, technological changes that will impact our business.
• Provide analysis and what if modeling support for outsourcing, acquisition, and new project proposals.
• Perform financial analysis in any of the following primary areas: software development, capital expenses, and business operations.
• Provide strategic and financial analysis support in the areas of forecasting, financial results reporting, variance analysis, detailed profitability analysis, and ad hoc financial reporting.
• Assist in carrying out the following responsibilities and/or activities:
− Prepare internal customer models and operations information derived from the following functional teams: sales/sales support, implementation, operations, software development, and finance.
− Prepare sensitivity analysis of cost scenarios.
− Monitor activities of operational performance, and provide interim period reporting of key performance indicators.
− Support Capital Projects - financial support analysis, new facility capital improvements, and technology projects.
− Support Financial Projects - business case justification and return on investment analysis of major financial and strategic decisions.
− Support and participate in "best practices" initiatives as requested.
