Sr Business Analytics Manager, Value Based Steering (VBS) Logic
Job Summary:
This position will serve as a senior data analyst and subject matter expert for the value logic assumptions across all channel product dimensions of the business. This set of logic will serve as the foundation value based decision making across the enterprise while tracking managing channel owners to value targets. This individual will provide the methodology of how the business evaluates new sales and existing customer retention activities.
Essential Functions:
- As a member of the channel strategy team, this individual will act as key contributor to ensure all channels product categories are working with the right set of value assumptions logic to quantify impacts of business activities that will in the end maximize enterprise portfolio value
- Continuous scrutiny and analysis of VBS drivers, assumptions maintenance at a customer level
- Regular update communication of value logic methodology to stakeholders, impacts to targets
- Responsible for developing one-time and sustainable/reusable VBS reporting structures for stakeholders (new sales, existing customers)
- Provide appropriate methodology to outside reporting teams that will enable enterprise wide tracking and monitoring of channel and product activities in VBS construct
- Work to continuously identify opportunities for value creation partnering with channel teams armed with understanding of VBS performance detail for customer segments
- Educate channel leads owners about value based steering (VBS) principles and how to apply
- Actively support the evolution of VBS assumption data warehouse to enable analytics
- Construct executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in clear, concise and decision-impacting manner. Possess the ability to influence sales management through fact-based analysis.
- Utilize analytical capability to perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to enhance decision making across a range of options
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of strategic frameworks, industry trends, and corporate and customer drivers in order to improve, reengineer or maintain company performance
- Interface with marketing organization to assess and provide feedback on VBS implications of campaigns promotions
!*!Experience/Education:
5 - 7 years of experience in financial business, or operational analysis of corporate initiatives
Bachelor's degree with quantitative concentration (finance, engineering, economics)
MBA or professional equivalent required
Excellent communication skills, executive level presence
Strong SQL skills; familiarity with T-Mobile data warehouse a major plus
Experience in sales marketing business analysis, consulting, product development, and/or channel analytics all a plus
