JDSU is looking for a Senior Salesforce Architect responsible for working with the functional consultants, business and technical teams to create unique customer solutions leveraging the full power of the Force.com and Salesforce platforms. This is a hands-on architect role, so you will be responsible for architecture and development deliverables.
Job Function
 Educate the business on capabilities of Enterprise Applications
 Drive process improvements by leveraging industry best practices
 Collaborate with the business to ensure software and applications are meeting their needs
 Gather and Document Business and Functional Requirements
 Gather and Document process flows
 Facilitate unit, integration and user acceptance testing
 Application end user training
 On-going training, including learning about JDSU’s business units, JDSU products, new technologies, process methods, etc.
 Facilitate communication with developers to ensure that customer requirements are translated to design specifications and appropriate testing efforts.
 Participate in peer reviews to ensure the delivery of quality solutions
 Worldwide travel maybe required at times
 Strive to be up-to-date in best practices, analysis methods and technologies
 Participate in process improvement
 Offer support to other team members and mentor

Qualifications

 University degree in the field of computer science or information systems with emphasis on business interfaces, or business degree with IT minor or subsequent classes
 10+ experience in IT analysis, design and implementation. International Institute of Business Analysts certification or equivalent experience preferred.
 8 years of consulting or industry experience preferred
 5+ years of experience managing large technology engagements
 Experience with full life cycle Salesforce.com implementations
 In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application
 Experience defining business solutions leveraging SFDC
 Full lifecycle experience from: solution definition, solution architecture definition to design, development and testing of the SFDC application
 Expert knowledge of SFDC object mode
 Experience with third-party tools (e.g. SFDC Excel Connector, SFDC Data Loader, etc.)
 Experience with the SFDC toolkit (e.g. Visualforce, Apex, S-controls, Triggers, Chatter, etc.)
 Deep experience integrating 3rd party solutions with SFDC
 Integration experience with Oracle ERP
 Functional knowledge Sales, Service and Marketing functions
 SFDC Certified professional
