Our sustained growth has created an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst.
The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for data analysis, system design, data/dimensional modeling, report development, implementation and troubleshooting. You will compose Entity Relationship and business process diagrams, actively participating in meetings with project stakeholders and users from many disciplines to ensure that developed and integrated systems meet their needs. Responsible for preparing technical documentation and conducting technical reviews with colleagues; creating complex queries against relational and multi-dimensional database systems using Transact-SQL and MDX for SQL install software; diagnosing problems and other remote administration tasks; as well as developing reports, graphs using IQ4bis and Excel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 7 years work experience in an IT environment.
- Proficiency with Micro Focus Cobol programming and Sun Solaris 10 operating system.
- Development and implementation of BI solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence Technology stack 2000/2005/2008.
- Experience in Data Warehousing, Data Analysis and modeling and a good grasp of software engineering principles.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze user requirements and build reporting solutions such as relational database reports, OLAP reporting, dashboards, and scorecards.
- Experience in developing, maintaining and supporting new and existing BI (IQ4bis) infrastructure.
- Excellent design and coding skills with strong ability to execute.
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once.
- Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
