3+ yrs of Previous Business/System Analyst responsibilities in a large applications team 3+yrs of SQL experience Knowledge of APIs a major plus Prior wireless industry experience is a huge plus. Strong knowledge of multi-tiered applications Strong Human Factors knowledge Knowledge of applicable development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures Ability to work independently and self-motivate other members of the team Ability to make decisions and provide recommendations to peers/management Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems 3+ years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience This individual is responsible to be a Business Analyst for the Customer Care applications. This position requires that the person understand enhancement requests at the enterprise level, and use a variety of tools and techniques to define the changes that will be required to applications to accommodate the business need. This position will also require that the individual have strong experience with human factors design. This skill requires a good understanding of how people interact with computer applications, leading to better usability, readability, reduced training times, reduced call handle times, and user satisfaction. This requires knowledge of screen layout, navigation, color, font, pattern recognition, and how to optimally apply these to requested changes in process flows and/or functional enhancements. The incumbent designs advanced systems by researching and evaluating business systems to develop detailed understanding of user needs. Able to translate frontend/backend impacts from design frameworks, analyzes, APIs, for various applications. Works with Business Sponsors, Project Manager, and Developers to define business/system requirements. Primary person to handle Business Analyst responsibilities for small to medium size projects and provide guidance to staff members. Works as a team member on medium to large complex technical/programming projects under minimal direction of senior staff and management. Able to work with others by performing project management activities such as planning and scheduling activities. Develops solutions and makes decisions that directly impact projects and staff members. Performs analysis, writes specifications and develops designs for small to medium size projects OR performs analysis, resolves problems and monitors to proactively prevent problems from occurring. Evaluates options for meeting user needs, and ensures that system requirements are identified, prioritized and incorporated in an effective, efficient manner. Performs technical evaluation of products. The role also supports the other teams in the organization. ? Assisting in the development of technical designs ? Assisting the system test team, either through coaching on the enhancement and/or doing some testing directly ? Attending CAM project meetings and delivering status updates and reporting of any jeopardy items ? Assisting in the resolution of onsets created in UAT ? Assisting in the resolution ot production trouble tickets ? Provide support for change release activities
