Job Description
TIAA-CREF is seeking a Sr. Client Agreement Consultant for either our
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify approaches for high volume legal reviews of client documents.
- Acts as SME for such reviews.
- Provide policy analysis and recommendations for legal documents used by TIAA-CREF or submitted from clients.
- Participate in project teams for new products and services providing analysis of impact to legal agreements.
- Negotiate with Institutional clients (or their legal representatives) on record keeping legal agreements, provides alternate solutions where warranted.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 7 or more years supporting projects and improvement initiatives of increasing significance and plan document/compliance experience,
- Experience in negotiating legal contracts for retirement plans with Institutional Clients (or their legal representatives).
- Excellent communication skills: verbal written and presentation.
- Ability to develop strong relationship with IR, AO, and Product leadership.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, laws and regulatory requirements and their impact to TIAA-CREF products and services.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products.
- Willingness to travel - approximately 15% annually.
