Within EMC s Information Intelligence Group (IIG) Division, a customer focused Performance Team ensures that the Documentum Product Suite operates in an efficient and optimal manner. This team performs reliability, robustness, performance, scalability and stress tests in large-scale environments to ensure the product meets customer requirements. You will be looking at all aspects of performance from a holistic angle and provide analysis and recommendations with performance and scalability in mind. Skills and Experience Required: The candidate has a minimum of relevant technical work experience in the areas below, including design/testing of distributed, fault-tolerant applications. As part of the Performance Team, you will be tasked with presenting your analysis and reporting detailed data and recommendations back to management and development. Hands-on experience in Java and SQL. Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle and SQL Tuning is a plus. Experience profiling Java CPU and Memory. Experience with J2EE Application Servers. Strong Windows and Linux skills required. Proven analysis and troubleshooting skills Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management System level architecture designs and is seen as a visionary, providing input to product direction and strategy. Familiarity of Windows and UNIX server architecture.
