An opportunity has arisen for a global bank to seek out an experienced Credit Approval Manager to join an experienced team in the MNC/Global Corporates department and ensure that the quality of the corporate credit portfolio is maintained within acceptable parameters, as defined by Group and Local Credit Policies, Portfolio Business Underwriting Standards.
Reporting directly to the Senior Credit Officer, you will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as you instil a strong and disciplined credit culture through assessment and approval of credit applications. You will proactively recommend credit control measures so as to mitigate risks on both portfolio and individual account basis. Participate in credit calls jointly with Relationship Managers as needed.
With a minimum 10 years credit risk experience in a banking environment, you will have solid experience in credit approval in large corporates. You will demonstrate excellent communications skills and play a proactive role in initiating the improvement of credit process flow and lead others to execute various ad hoc credit projects. Ability to work independently and perform under pressure is essential.
