Sr. Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for providing information and reporting tools for the use in Supply Chain Operations. Responsible for supporting contract and spend management functions. Also responsible for completing financial analysis related to vendor proposal review and savings tracking for implemented contracts.
Essential Job Duties:
Assists in implementation and maintains systems used to query and analyze Supply Chain data including contract management software. Trains and supports departmental end users.
Responsible for contract management functions including monitoring of price changes, contract compliance, off contract spend, and GPO tier levels.
Responsible for spend management functions to include vendor rebate tracking, price benchmarking, and market share analysis.
Supports Corporate Value Analysis by providing utilization analysis for targeted product groups. Assists in monitoring the progress of projected and achieved savings.
Supports Corporate and facility based Supply Chain personnel by providing operational performance, spend performance, and ad-hoc reporting as requested. Assists in the development of standardized data analysis procedures in support of Supply Chain Operations.
Responsible for completing financial analysis related to vendor proposal review and savings tracking
Perform other duties as assigned/required.
Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 3 years experiece required.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access); skills and knowledge of Crystal Reports and SQL Query Analyzer; data management and analysis skills; knowledge of McKesson Pathways Materials Management, Pathways Financial Management systems preferred; excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Familiarity with contract management systems a plus.
