Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Sr. Data Analyst for a temp to hire position with one of Sacramento's most sought after employers. This is a new position for a department that is rapidly growing.
The General Summary:
Develops analyses and provides relevant informational support to monitor the performance of sales and assist in the business decision process. Act as a liaison between finance and sales and maintain interactive relationships with the core sales team.
Essential Functions:
" Prepare monthly, weekly and daily sales reports.
Ensure that reports are effective, provided on a timely basis, and subject to rigorous standards.
" Conduct market research and analyze data on competitive and industry trends.
" Prepare and present reports that highlight and effectively communicate key issues to finance, sales and marketing internal customers.
" Identify and report key sales metrics with focus on trends and patterns and help set well-reasoned targets. Ensure appropriate integrity and reasonableness of information.

Requirements:
" Exhibit a high level of understanding of information systems and expertise in databases, while exhibiting the ability to work with large quantities of information.
" Complete critical analysis of products, genres, special programs, sales terms, channels and accounts.
" Maintain commitment to continuous process improvement: efficiency, effectiveness, and currency
" Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting or an analytical field: Engineering or Computer Science. MBA an advantage.
