Position Purpose: The Senior Design Analyst is responsible for design and analysis related to CO (SAP Controlling Module) process, data or information. This position gathers, validates and translates business requirements into cohesive, integrated designs and software development specifications. This position writes and executes test scenarios and scripts and ensures risks are mitigated or eliminated in partnership with the Business Process Controls (BPC) Team. This position considers integration of designs within and across the overall design solution. This position communicates within and across design teams, software development teams and the Business Implementation (BI) team to meet design requirements. This position delivers quality designs that meet both business and functional requirements. You will work on the Record to Report (RTR) process, which includes the development and review of budgets, the performance of financial and management accounting, the generation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, the performance of tax and customs planning and reporting, and the development of strategy and policies to enable these processes. Principal Accountabilities: 25% - Requirements Gathering Identify, develop, and document business requirements across the design utilizing the following methodologies: Existing documentation Requirements workshops Interviews with relevant stakeholders Best practice knowledge and researc Laws and regulations 25% - Requirements Analysis Analyze business requirements to determine if the requirement is related to: Needs versus wants Fit versus gap with the technology enablement Recommend solutions for design gaps 25% - Design Design process, data, and/or information flow based on identified requirements Document and enable business requirements through: Process, data or information functional designs Creation of functional specifications Support of data conversion and validation requirements of Cargills business units, as necessary Identify risks and design controls to mitigate or eliminate risks Review designs and integration points to ensure business requirements are met Communicate designs within the design team and with other stakeholders/teams such as Security Control and Compliance (SCC) and Change, Communication and Education (CCE) Work with the modeling team to ensure designs are properly modeled and updated in ARIS Ensure activity designs are properly documented and updated Work with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure updates are made to the appropriate deliverables maintained in ClearQuest 10% - Testing Develop and execute complex testing cases and scripts Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), as required 10% - Training Content Development Partner with Education Consultants to develop content for training materials based on designs Review training materials Deliver and support training of super users and business unit users as needed Support go-live and hyper-care activities including remedial training, solving breaks and miscellaneous troubleshooting 5% - Miscellaneous duties as assigned Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience 5+ years relevant business experience 1+ year CO experience Knowledge of CO process, data or information Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous environments Demonstrated analytical, technical and problem-solving skills Ability to make decisions independently within scope or boundaries Strong collaboration and influencing skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience facilitating meetings and/or group discussions Strong information research and gathering skills Preferred: Past project management experience 1+ years SAP experience (as a user or an implementation team member) and/or ERP implementation experience 3+ years experience with SAP CO module Past experience working with a global team Work experiences across multiple lines of businesses Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting (statutory and external) Ability to identify information required to make critical business decisions Familiarity with technical requirements and system configuration
