Job Description:
This position is responsible for growing and developing the Clinical Laboratory into a new business segment, developing external relationships with large Pharmaceutical companies to drive the Companion Diagnostics pipeline and establish market recognition for this new program. Internally you will establish the direct billing, direct to consumer testing and expansion of the reference menu while leading a team of direct reports.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Research and development necessary to drive the pipeline and menu of new tests

•Manage the lab operations to maintain regulatory, quality and performance standards

•Marketing strategy to drive new and existing customer adoption

•Compliance and billing practices to establish and maintain the highest quality, most accurate third party billing systems and procedures

Requirements:

•The successful candidate will have 10+ years of strong technical and scientific understanding with the ability to represent the business strategy to the team of direct reports as well as peer groups. Must have at least 5 years lab operations experience with demonstrated scientific skills, experience in development and commercialization of Lab Developed Tests (LDT), working knowledge of CLIA regulations, molecular diagnostics and immunoassays in a commercialization environment

•BS/BA in Life Sciences, Management or Technical degree. Advanced degree Preferred

•Demonstrated ability to develop team members through mentoring and coaching in a technical environment

•Ability to act as a trusted advisor to top management and business partners on advanced technical matters
