We are looking for a smart and seasoned senior director-level product management professional to lead the vision, development and execution of consumer facing features and content on our global websites. This position reports to the Vice President, Global Product and has multiple direct reports.

In this role, s/he will be a champion of the consumer's online experience overseeing our core hotel, restaurant, attractions, destination, and community features. S/he will lead a team of product directors and managers in the development of the strategies, business cases, product definitions, designs, content, and implementation of core site functionality that maximizes customer satisfaction, increases content and revenue generation, and enhances the value of the TripAdvisor brand.

What You'll Do:
Leading a team of world class product managers and marketers to design innovative consumer features and functionality globally; includes hiring, retaining and growing high-performing team
Working closely with the senior management and other product managers to identify gaps in core product functionality and content offerings
Building business cases and analytical support/insight for new business initiatives; this requires identifying and understanding key issues, quantitatively analyzing these issues, and communicating key insights and results
Prioritizing roadmap of product areas and initiatives for development
Driving product definitions which translate business needs, customer needs and technological capabilities into site features and enhancements
Leading cross-functional teams to produce product specifications, establish milestones, and manage the development, implementation and marketing launch against goals
Communicating product status, key issues and launch plans to key constituents across the TripAdvisor organization including senior management, engineering, design, brand marketing, sales, PR, and user support teams
Measuring product performance and identification of key levers of improvement - including design and analysis of relevant reports
Monitoring the competitive landscape, identifying and leading relevant market, site and consumer research needs

What We Seek:
Demonstrated ability to lead both the longer-term vision and near-term execution of consumer-facing features and functionality.
Minimum 10 years experience with at least 6+ years of product management in a leading Web-based consumer business preferred
Proven ability to build teams and lead organizations in rapid growth environment; minimum 4+ years people-management experience leading a team of high-performing product managers and product marketers
Consumer-focused mind-set with interest and knowledge in user-generated content and social features.
Solid understanding of software development process, preferably in Web-based environment.
Demonstrated experience successfully developing and managing new product launches, including a proven ability to champion products throughout the lifecycle and drive to key decisions
Sound business judgment and ability to build business case around a product or service
BS/BA required, MBA (or masters/PhD) preferred
Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization
Strong organization and analytic skills absolutely required
Must be great team player that works well in collaborative situation
