Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Senior Director, Human Resources Americas Region for our Edison, New Jersey location. This position will function as the Sr. HR support and lead for the Americas region responsible for strategic and operational HR issues to deliver the regions objectives. Will sit on the DSPD LT (Ops Committee). Talent Management for the Americas (Performance, objectives, career ladders). This positions will be responsible for the development of best in class Human Resources strategies working through the business Partners, Organization Leadership Development, working closely with Talent Acquisition, processes and policies including employee relations, Staffing, compensation, EEO, Affirmative Action. This role is expected to provide leadership and coaching to Sr. Leaders in the region regarding HR issues.  Responsibilities: In this role, you will Provides leadership and management for the Americas region in the following areas:HR Strategy*           Strategic partner/advisor to the EVP Americas Region and the Function heads supporting the Americas Region *           Provide guidance and leadership to HR Business Partners and OLD on policy development and delivery of HR solution *           Partners with DSAC Shared Services (Benefits, HRIT, Policies, Compensation) to deliver BIC solutions that attracts and retains talent for DSPD  Organization Development*           Works with the Americas region Leadership Team provide talent management strategies to deliver on DSPD's objectives *           Development and execution of a talent strategy to drive the growth strategy of DSPD*           Lead Americas region Organization Design and change initiatives *           Ensure a strategy for the development and coaching of the Americas Region team to deliver on their goals *           Development and implementation of tools to assess internal capabilities for DSPD*           Design of programs and processes that focus on leadership development*           Acts as a change management resource for reengineering, outsourcing and reorganizations Equal Opportunity*           Spearheads and consistently reinforces our commitment to equal opportunity and development of our Associates Talent Attraction and Retention *           Responsible for developing and executing strategies in partnership with Talent Acquisition to attract outstanding candidates in partnership with Functions and Talent Acquisition *           Directly manages key searches and participates in the screening and recruiting process for key leadership roles Performance Management*           Develops and executes the strategy to encourage a performance-based culture*           Provides hands-on global oversight for the year-end evaluation, compensation and promotion processes.  Compensation*           Develop career paths in conjunction with skills based management system implementation *           Development of competitive compensation benefits programs in the region which in turn serve to drive a performance based culture*           Counsel management regarding the application of sound compensation principles and practices. *           Oversee compliance with legal requirements and company policies associated with compensation. *           Act as an internal consultant regarding compensation issues. Employee Relations*           Coordinates with managers to handle performance and personnel issues with a high degree of professional discretion and with complete understanding of the legal and regulatory environment Education/Experience Qualified candidates must have a University degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or similar. Masters degree is preferred.The candidate will need 10+ years experience in Human Resources including at least 5 years demonstrated experience leading organization Leadership Development, Talent Management and as a HR Business Partner. Ability to lead a region Human Resources function partnering very closely with Function Heads and Region EVP. Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously; excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to be strategic, implement an HR strategy.Excellent oral and written communications and presentations skills The ability to effectively influence individuals of varying backgrounds and learning styles and levels.Decision making abilityThe ability to establish effective working relationships with peers, subordinates and superiors. Ability to act as a coach and provide feedback to employees and management at all levels. Must have good understanding of labor market trends; be current on employment laws, EEO, AA and compensation management practices. Demonstrated ability to articulate and implement a vision and strategy. Hands-on management experience developing and directing day-to-day HR Function including hiring, developing and mentoring a superb HR staff. Must be willing to travel 10% of the time.
