Role Description Hematologic cancers are a complex group of diseases, with over 70 different types of lymphomas, leukemias or myelomas. While there have been significant advancements in the treatment of some hematologic cancers, there continues to be a need for additional therapeutic options. Pfizer Oncology is committed to improving outcomes for patients living with hematologic malignancies. Pfizer Oncology has a robust hematology pipeline, with biologics and small molecules in clinical development across a number of hematologic malignancies. Late stage assets in hematology include: § Bosulif (bosutinib) - investigational asset in development for treatment option for adult patients with previously treated Philadelphia chromosome positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukemia (CML); regulatory submissions underway across regions § Inotuzumab -investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 study in patients with relapsed or refractory CD22-positive aggressive NHL who are not candidates for intensive high-dose chemotherapy § Mylotarg (gemtuzumab) - previously approved asset for patients 60 and older who had a relapse of acute myeloid leukemia This individual will: § Provide commercial leadership for Pfizer Oncology's Hematology Franchise to increase value of assets; direct responsibility for 3 commercial development of assets: Bosulif (bosutinib), inotuzumab, and Mylotarg (gemtuzumab) § Coach highly empowered team to drive global launch readiness efforts for key pipeline assets Bosulif (bosutinib), inotuzumab, and Mylotarg (gemtuzumab) § Deliver Lifecycle planning process that adds portfolio value for full hematology portfolio § Partner effectively with Hematology Clinical Asset Team Leader, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Regions and other functions to develop/drive integrated strategies that deliver value to customers and patients with hematological malignancies § Act as a model for Pfizer Oncology Culture that underpins ""finding ways to win"" and ""working with an inclusive spirit"" Responsibilities § Broad knowledge of the oncology/hematology preferred, but not required § Strong scientific acumen; ability to rapidly learn clinical landscape and data in the hematology field § Knowledge of health care environment including HCP dynamics, pricing/ reimbursement, regulatory requirements, and policy trends § Demonstrated track record of consistent high performance, and producing outstanding results as a Team Leader § Demonstrated strategic/marketing capabilities including understanding customer/market requirements and translating these into meaningful value proposition § Ability to analyze, define and convey complex concepts and strategies in verbal and written communication to demanding internal and external audiences § Demonstrated leadership excellence, proven ability to motivate and lead people in a complex changing environment and the professional maturity to overcome ambiguity and lead others through both influence and direct authority § Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders and negotiate and implement a plan that is mutually agreed upon Qualifications § 8-12 years of marketing in the pharmaceutical industry - oncology / hematology experience preferred; launch experience an advantage § University degree in Science, Health Sciences or Business; Graduate degree preferred § Experience as Team Leader with direct report accountability Equal Employment Opportunity Pfizer is committed to equal opportunity in the terms and conditions of employment for all employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, disability or veteran status.
