We are currently looking for a Sr. QA Engineer in Burlington, MA.
Requirements:
- Lead various QA projects as assigned
- Develop and execute software test plans and validation procedures
- Create automated test suites for functional and regression testing
- Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain software quality standards
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and enhancement of software
- Develop and maintain automated test and deployment systems
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action
- Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems
- Conduct regression tests and evaluate results
- Confer with software engineers and others to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
- Bachelor Degree required
- 5-10 years experience in Software QA or development.
- Experience with Linux and/or Solaris
- Able to understand Java and C++. Familiar with .Net. Programming experience a plus.
- Experience with software test tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Mid-level experience (5+yrs), experience with mobile/web/agile a big plus.
- Strong Testing and Leadership Skills
- Shell OR Perl OR VB scripting experience - Heavy Utility Languages experience!
- Automation Experience - to assist the group in growing and becoming more automatedBackend/Database testing experience or SQL experience
- Someone that loves testing and enjoys finding the bugs and writing software to identify them
- Solid communication AND self starter personality!!
- Entrepreneurial spirited, experience working for small/mid size growing companies
- Plus for Spatial data/mapping, SOAP, XML, Mobile Phone experience, and/or Scrum/Agile experience.
