Experis is seeking a Senior Engineer I in Irvine with a medical manufacturing company.
The Senior Engineer will be responsible for:
Position will be a primary technical resource for engineering activities in the Laser probe and Consumables areas with primary emphasis in Laser probe. Duties include but are not limited to: Defect analysis and disposition Manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and repair Train assembly and support personnel Identify specific technical production issues, analyze data, develop and implement corrective action Identify and implement lean techniques (5S, kanban, etc.) with the Laser probe team
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
(EDUCATION, TRAINING, COMPUTER SKILLS, ETC.)
Knowledge of basic mechanical and industrial engineering principles J.I.T, GMP Knowledge of optics, plastics manufacture and medical device packaging in a controlled environment Working knowledge of statistical process control techniques Working knowledge of Lean tools and their applicaiton Good oral and written communication skills Knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project) B.S. in Engineering discipline - advanced technical degree preferred Minimum five years experience with at least 3 in medical device manufacturing
