Job Title: Sr Engineer (Nuc) Location: Echelon One Reference: 110263 MRV Minimum Salary: 81, 000. 000000 MRV Maximum Salary: 121, 000. 000000 Bargaining: N Work Location Jackson, MS Echelon One Responsibilities THIS POSITION IS TO BE HIRED AS A IN SERVICE TESTING ENGINEER. Position can be filled as a Engineer I, II, III or a Senior Engineer or Technical Specialist I, II, III, or IV. Responsible for the engineering and safety of nuclear components at all Entergy Nuclear plants. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: -- Ensure code program engineering work is performed and implemented consistent with defined codes and standards. -- Produce quality engineering products in support of code program implementation, design and maintaining conformance with station license, codes and standards. --Maintain the Code Design Bases of the plant. -- Develop, plan and coordinate or implement special projects, corrective action plans, and improvement programs to address plant problems or regulatory sensitive issues. -- Oversee the development of drawings, specifications and detailed design for fabrication of new and modification of existing plant equipment and systems maintaining code program and safe shutdown capability of the unit. --Initiate and execute frequent exchanges with others, as necessary, to resolve areas of conflict, promote a supportive team approach, and address issues where obstacles are hampering common performance. --Ensure that fleet lessons learned and good practices are implemented. -- Control engineering cost through maximization of resources and tracking expenditures within budget parameters. -- Be able and willing to complete 10CFR50. 59 qualification. Reports to: Supv, Code Programs - Corporate Qualifications Qualifications, Experience, Physical Requirements: --B. S. degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering curriculum or graduate of an accredited engineering technology curriculum of accepted standing. -- Work experience of 0 - 8 years in Nuclear Code Programs or equivalent experience in operations or system engineering. or --If not a graduate of the aforementioned nature, a minimum of 10 years of engineering attainment indicative of growth in engineering competency and achievement. All: --Knowledgeable in code program requirements for nuclear power plants. --Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation. --Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills. --Must have strong written and oral communication skills. --Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft desktop software. Desired Qualifications: --SRO license or certification on a PWR or BWR. --Professional Engineering license. -- Knowledgeable of Probabilistic Risk Analysis methods.
