Experience
Ø 10+ years working in a data warehouse environment with 4-6 years specializing in ETL function
Ø 5 years experience in application development
Ø Leadership and Communication Skills
Ø Good written and verbal communications skills
Business Domain Expertise
Ø Marketing for Online brokerage a plus
Ø Experience in Financial Services (3years +) a plus
Technical Expertise
Ø Informatica ETL tool
Ø Design and document the ETL architecture
Ø Establish standardized approaches for functions like exception management, reconciliation, slowly-changing dimensions, data movement and distribution, and component reuse.
Ø Develop design specifications for standardized approaches
Ø Determine the best approaches for transferring and loading data
Ø Develop a strategy for transforming, standardizing, validating and cleansing the data while it is moved across the architecture data store(s).
Ø Setup the change data capture procedure to ensure that the data stores in the tiered architecture are properly refreshed when changes of interest occur.
Ø Define a messaging approach to move the data among the target data stores.
Ø Partner with the data analysts and ETL developers to ensure all required metadata is recorded.
