Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement and support ETL processes
· Production support for Operational Data Store, Data warehouse and ongoing operational processes
· Develop and support ETL processes for data cleansing, data auditing and data profiling
· Work with team to establish and implement sound ETL development practices
· Ability to work with broad and diverse inputs of source data to formulate and integrate into a centralized data store
and data warehouse
· Work with business partners to gather and analyze business requirements and translate into technical specification
documents and technical tasks
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
· Minimum 6 years experience in ETL design and development capacity, preferably in a retail environment
· Minimum 6 years experience using Oracle (Oracle 9, 10 or 11g preferred)
· Minimum 5 years with ETL tools such as ODI/OWB (formerly Sunopsis), Informatica or Ab Initio
· Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting, PL/SQL coding, tuning and optimizing
· Knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL a plus
· Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work on cross-functional teams and assist in the teams’ commitment to tasks
· Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
· Self-starter and independent individual with ability to work with a minimum of supervision
· Strong facilitation, verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex business concepts
in technical terms
