We are currently seeking a talented Sr Executive Compensation Advisor for our San Antonio, TX facility.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Leads or works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, implement and administer enterprise or CoSA-specific compensation and/or performance management programs, practices and policies. Works directly with line of business management team to provide compensation solutions (Executive) covering a wide range of pay issues including job structure and salary range development, base pay administration, and pay guidance. Works under minimal supervision. Performs complex work assignments and problem resolution across multiple functions and/or CoSAs.
JOB DUTIES
- Collaborates with senior leadership to influence organizational design and pay structures, performance management practices, and total rewards strategies (Executive) to ensure market competitiveness.
- Leads the design, development, implementation and administration of enterprise-wide or CoSA-specific compensation and performance management programs, practices and policies. Provides knowledge/experience in the design of multiple total compensation programs (Executive) including base pay, short-term, and long-term incentives.
- Consults business partners and leaders of assigned CoSA or for strategic enterprise program(s), providing guidance, oversight, and communication on existing pay policies, strategies and bonus plans. Serves as a mentor to peers and team members and acts as a resource for escalated issues of an unusual nature.
- Leads or serves as team member on Compensation projects and initiatives impacting enterprise-wide pay plans and policies. Coordinates with PS Operations for development and implementation of systems which support compensation programs.
- Conducts training on compensation-related topics which continually educates management and employees on enterprise policies and compensation philosophy/practices to ensure appropriate performance, and pay decisions, and compliance with legal standards.
- Proactively analyzes and identifies organizational trends and benchmarks industry practices to address compensation issues, and recommend appropriate action. May be a point of contact to industry organizations for benchmarking purposes.
- May lead compensation specific projects (to include strategy, communication plans, and/or delivery) and/or represent compensation in cross-functional teams.
- Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of relevant human resources discipline(s). Provides insight and guides management on issues. Identifies opportunities and potential solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience.
- 6 years relevant work experience in the compensation discipline.
- 4+ years general business consulting/analysis experience or business management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other software to be used to develop analysis, charts, and/or supporting documentation.
Preferred
- CCP/PHR/SPHR.
- 12 years relevant work experience in one or more human resource discipline and/or general business consulting/analysis experience preferred.
- Executive Compensation work experience preferred.
- Experience creating analyses and compensation studies to Board of Directors and senior leadership preferred.
- Strong analytical skills preferred.
