Description:
The position will support the financial reporting and analysis of the Theatrical Marketing and Distribution Department. This includes preparing and analyzing budgets, analyzing departmental reports and supporting the Marketing and Distribution team. The position reports to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
*Works with the Marketing and Distribution team to prepare budgets
*Prepares monthly accruals
*Monitors budgets/forecasts, reviews/analyzes variances and discrepancies
*Coordinates with Operations staff regarding budget issues as necessary
*Performs Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt maintenance and resolution
*Responsible for researching improvements in departmental processes and savings opportunities
*Reviews vendor deals to verify savings
*Oversees the review and analysis of the cost reports by title to prepare projections
*Reviews and approves film related Studio Group charges
*Stays abreast of business decisions and developments in order to be able to analyze and evaluate information relating to our business and react as needed
*Meets corporate deadlines as relevant
*Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis as requested
Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
*Bachelor?s Degree
*Minimum 2-4 years Finance/Accounting experience
Desired skills:
*SAP experience
*Advanced Excel
*Proficient in Word PowerPoint
*Good analytical skills
*Strong time management and organizational skills
*Attention to detail
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
*Entertainment experience preferred
