Sr. Financial Analyst- Financial Reporting

The Sr. Financial Analyst will work with the FPA team to prepare and analyze periodic and ad-hoc monthly financial reports, prepare annual operating and strategic plan, provide analysis and commentary on performance for company's quarterly earnings release, and prepare and analyze monthly working capital report. The incumbent will also assist with various presentations for investor meetings, board of director meetings, and other ad-hoc presentations; assist with preparation and coordination of AIP Tracking Analysis and CEO Metrics Scoreboard; and assist with ad-hoc requests for analysis from CFO, CEO, SVP Investor Relations Strategy, and VP FPA to respond to emerging business issues. The Financial Analyst will be a member of the Tyco International Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team and will work closely with other members of the finance team including Accounting, Treasury and other areas of the organization.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance: CPA preferred
Experience:
- 3-5 years of related work experience
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong accounting background and analytical skills
- PC proficient (Excel and Word required)
- Experience with Hyperion Enterprise and Essbase preferred
- Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards or Baan a plus
