Sr. Financial Analyst, IT Financial Planning & Analysis Job in Scottsdale 85260, Arizona US
The Sr. Financial Analyst position is responsible as the key financial contact supporting between $5M - $50M+ of spend and multiple VP’s and Directors in the IT organization. The primary responsibilities include financial oversight of IT spend across multiple business segments. Duties include interaction with and support of key internal stakeholders including Corporate Finance, HR, Internal Audit, and IS Security to insure the financial integrity of the IT expense targets. The Sr. Financial Analyst also acts as the main financial point of contact to Director and VP Management within the IT organization and supports the preparation of the IT department level presentations.
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related field required from and accredited four year college or university.
• Masters Degree in Business, Finance or related field required from and accredited four year college or university (preferred).
• Minimum 6 years in Finance, Budgeting, Analytical positions or equivalent combination of experience and graduate education or certification (CPA)
• Demonstrated experience interfacing with senior executives
• Experience working in and supporting an IT technology environment
• Experience within the PBM, technology and/or Healthcare Industries
• Proven ability to develop analysis and reporting based on departments and initiatives
• Experience interfacing with business teams, especially systems IT application teams
• Develop Lead annual IT PBM Expense Budget of multiple units
• Support Corporate Finance with the annual budgeting process
• Insure accounting controls as it relates to Financial Control, Internal Accounting Practices/Procedures and internal/external GAAP requirements
• Develop and maintain interaction with Internal Audit, IT Security and other internal personnel
• Ensure alignment of IT and corporate expense forecasts for the PBM and PBM strategic initiatives
• Manage monthly IT forecast process in coordination with Corporate Finance
• Oversee the development and implementation of project based financial plans for the IT project portfolio
• Develop actionable variance and trend reports from various IT systems
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills, be very detail oriented, have strong organizational navigational and time management skills
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, key stakeholders, executives and vendors
• High level of expertise in Excel, SAP, Hyperion and other standard financial tools and systems
• Ability to collaborate with and meet the needs of multiple internal stakeholders while effectively interacting and communicating at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to assess and mitigate risk from a company, project, business, financial perspective.
• Must possess the ability to manage multiple project and priorities on a simultaneous basis
