Description:
This position is responsible for various accounting and reporting processes in support of Paramount Pictures International with a focus on marketing project budgets, and title amortization, royalties and allocations.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
* Ad hoc Journal entry preparation for marketing project budgets and plans
* Prepare monthly journal entries for:
- Accruals ? participations and revenue
- Asset impairment
- Bad debt allowance and write-offs
- Film inventory/advances amortization and write-downs
- Print amortization
- Royalties
- SAB Adjustments
- Title allocations
- Union/guild/artist society liabilities
* Conduct reconciliations for deferred income, GAAP to cash ledger
* Reporting and analysis focused on:
- By title variance to plan and budget
- AR Aging
- Management reports
- Variance analysis ? Balance Sheet and PL
- Trade associations reporting
* Special projects as called upon by management

Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
* CPA or Chartered Accountant designation
* Minimum 4 years of related experience, preferably in the Entertainment Industry
* Experience with financial analysis, US GAAP, IFRS
* Experience and proficiency with SAP Financials

* Self-starter with ability to proactively identify issues and propose resolutions
* Strong attention to detail and results driven work ethic
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to research and apply advanced financial and accounting concepts
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines
