Role Description
Under general direction, the Sr. Financial Analyst will conduct and document system and process changes related to Business Segment/Product Line revenue reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
Under limited supervision will:
- Liaison with IT to develop a system based solution to support revenue reporting with both dashboard and ad hoc capabilities
- Research and potentially implement software solutions available to Baker Hughes for revenue reporting purposes
- Analyze revenue trends by product for all Product Lines to support business requirements
- Work directly with Product Line managers to assist in both high level and detailed invoiced revenue reporting
- Train Product Line end users, within the Global Products Services organization on system solution
- Support the Global Products Services FPA Organization with maintaining monthly revenue reporting package
- Maintain mapping between material hierarchy detail and Business Segment/Product Line/Sub-Product Line structure for Baker Hughes
- Coordinate the ongoing effort to streamline and improve accuracy in new product revenue reporting for all Product Lines
- Support legal department as necessary with detailed revenue requirements
- Handle special projects as needed
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required with 2-4+ years of Finacial Analyst activities.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Business Intelligence / Business Warehouse is preferred
- Product Line support experience is preferred
- Multiple Product Line support experience is a plus
- SAP Order Management experience
- Hyperion HFM/ESSBASE experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills
