Sr. Financial Analyst
Amazon operations finance is looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Finance department as a Senior Financial Analyst in one of our US Fulfillment Centers. This is a challenging role with the potential to make a large impact. The SFA will support the General Manager and Controller by producing and delivering financial and operational analyses which will allow the Fulfillment Center to work more efficiently and predictably, with the highest level of customer satisfaction. Duties will include: Managing staff planning and metrics models Providing financial analysis to prioritize and lead cost reduction efforts Providing analytical support for facility optimization initiatives Collecting and analyzing quantitative data Designing and maintaining reports based on collected data Communicating results to Controller and other department leaders Maintaining data integrity 4+ years relevant experience BA/BS degree Excel experience Ability to travel; 10% travel expected Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) MBA/CPA preferred Supervisory experience Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Access, SQL and/or VBA Access, Oracle Financials and Essbase preferred Evidence of stretch assignments that reflect superior performance in previous roles Ability to thrive and grow quickly in a fast growing company Strong leadership skills Highly analytical and detail oriented Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment Knowledge of Distribution Center processes and systems a plus
