Sr. Financial Analyst
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will: * Be responsible for the monthly closing of Revenue Accounts Receivables including journal entry preparation and subsequent account analyses * Maintain the integrity of all accounting records in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company policies * Prepare and review monthly A/R reports and account reconciliations for the assigned businesses for accuracy and trends * Maintain, evaluate and analyze credit and collection, accounts receivable, bad debt and write-off data * Prepare accounts receivable, deferred revenue, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) * Provide Customers with monthly aging reports for receivables analysis This position is located in Washington, DC. Candidate must have: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance * CPA desirable but not required * 5+ years of accounting experience or equivalent, Public accounting experience is preferred * Strong technical skills, working knowledge and understanding of accounting policies and procedures * Good communication skills * Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications and enterprise GL solutions * PeopleSoft experience a plus; ability to identify problems, develops solutions and take action to resolve issues in assigned areas of responsibility
