Sr Financial Analyst recruitment
We’re a global provider of managed services and infrastructure for outsourced IT and cloud computing with offices in the US and internationally. We’re looking for a detail oriented and energetic Sr. Financial Analyst with significant experience in financial analysis and accounting to handle a multitude of responsibilities within our Finance team, including the aggregation, analysis and reporting of the company’s key financial metrics, as well as additional financial and accounting responsibilities shared generally by a seasoned team of professionals. This newly created position is based in the New York Metro area and will be a highly visible role, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will join a skilled and dynamic team of professionals dedicated to the long term success of this rapidly growing technology business, who also try to have a little fun in the process.
The Sr. Financial Analyst will:
* Work with all internal groups of this rapidly growing business to analyze and capture key performance data to further represent the business performance to internal and external stakeholders
* Work with the operational and technology groups of the company to analyze buying and deployment decisions for optimal investment/return outcomes
* Develop highly detailed and accurate trend-based models to forecast various spending and investment categories to allow management to make more effective decisions around future short and long term direction
* Substantially enhance, support and automate, wherever possible, an internal and external reporting package of key results and KPI’s
* Some monthly accounting responsibilities because, in the finance/accounting group, everyone owns a piece of one of the key underlying purposes for our group’s existence

Requirements:
* BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
* MBA in Finance will likely have an edge in this search
* 7 - 10 years of relevant exp
* Working knowledge of GAAP and financial statement development
* Strong Excel skills
* Strong modeling and modeling automation skills
* Working knowledge of other MS Office applications
* Strong Microsoft Access exp helpful but not required
* Analytical exp in a telecom environment a plus
* Background in investment banking industry and the associated analytical training helpful
