We are currently recruiting for a Sr. FPA Analyst position for a large, stable company that is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.

Salary: $65k-$95k

Primary Responsibilities
* Conducts most complex technical analysis to report on future and current financial performance, including analyses on budgets, forecasts, operating results, business plans and investment opportunities.
* Makes recommendations to improve operating results.
* Performs internal and external benchmarking
* Assist in development and measurement against identified key performance indicators
* Lead review of monthly, quarterly and YTD actuals and their variance to plan, forecast and LY
* Work closely with the Finance team in the monthly review of key Balance Sheet/PL items
* Plans the budgeting and forecasting processes for various functions in the organization
* Supports and recommends solutions to users who must make economic or business decisions.
* Actively participates in and may lead continuous improvement initiatives and updating of budgeting and forecasting policies and procedures.
* Creates models upon which business decisions can be based relating to sales, sales margins, cost analysis, profitability analysis, pricing proposals, etc. in order to accurately depict the business' financial information.

Knowledge/Skills Requirement
* BS in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred
* Minimum of 4 years of corporate financial analysis and planning experience
* Advanced analytic skills and the ability to support sound business decisions with solid reports
* Demonstrated advanced computer proficiency, specifically with MS Excel and forecasting tools
* Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
